Maximum efficiency of
compression with maximum
wear of the moving parts is achieved by a closed construction
patented compressor element. The “heart” of the compressing unit
is a couple of assymetrical precision screws that allow maximum
compression. A small number of movable parts ensure minimum wear,
and low maintenance costs.
The basic elements of the
station are the compressor
unit with oil injection and electrical motor coupled to it by a
special flange. It warrants a permanent centering in transport,
installation or transfer of NZ PACK compressors. The flexible
coupling of the power unit to the base frame prevents damage in case
of erroneous handling or installation on uneven floor.
Compressor cooling can
be achieved by the air-fan driven by the “female” compressor
unit rotor, ensuring only one source of energy consumption in the NZ
PACK station. Water cooling is based on high efficiency oil and
water coolers, equipped with condensate separator for automatic or
manual dirt removal.
The oil system used
on NZ compressors is characterized by the specific oil circulation
based on pressure difference between the oil tank and the
compressing unit. Thus, the quantity of oil used for heat removal,
sealing and lubrication, depends on the operating conditions but it
ensures lower energy consumption, constant oil temperature and
lesser danger of leakage or interruption of oil flow.
- The main quantity of oil is removed from the compressed air by the
course oil-separator which also serves as the main oil reservoir.
- The high-efficiency oil separator ensure that the oil content in
the compressed air ranges between 2-4 mg/m3.
Capacity regulation of the
compressor is performed by the electro-pneumatic system which
operates a pneumatic regulation valve at the intake side of the
compressing unit. The compressed air delivery capacity range from 0
to 100%. When operating (unloaded), the calibrated regulation air
provides the circulation of oil needed for lubrication of the screw
element end the roller bearings.
The electric comand pannel provides
full control of compressor operation, and includes the neccessary alarm and service function indicators, as well as indicators
for compressor operating parameters.
The nicely shaped housing made
of pressed steel sheet is lined with temperature and sound absorbing
material which keeps the nose below 75 dB(A). Compressor heat
radiation is also reduced to minimum. Six doors allow easy access to
all compressor station elements.
